A family recipe, now on wheels
Tacos La Familia started as a weekend stand in Logan Heights, built on recipes passed down through three generations of our family.
Today we run a taco truck that's become a neighborhood fixture — and we cater parties, offices, quinceañeras, and weddings across San Diego.
Everything is made fresh: hand-pressed tortillas, slow-cooked meats, and salsas we still make the way our abuela taught us.

Questions About Catering
How far in advance should we book catering?
For small gatherings we recommend booking at least one week ahead. For weddings, quinceañeras, or larger events, two to three weeks gives us time to plan the right menu and staffing.
Can you serve vegetarian guests?
Yes. We always offer a vegetarian option alongside our meats, and can build a fully vegetarian menu on request.
Do you only cater, or can we order from the truck directly?
Both. You can walk up to our truck in Logan Heights for everyday orders, or write to us to book catering for a private event.
Can the truck come to our event instead of a drop-off catering setup?
Yes — we can park our truck on site and serve guests directly, or set up a taco bar without the truck, depending on your venue and headcount.
